Natural Gas Treatment

Natural gas is processed for the purposes of:

  • separating formation water from the produced fluid
  • separating mechanical impurities in the produced fluid
  • increasing or decreasing its pressure
  • other treatment requirements

The primary objective is to ensure that the gas quality meets the technical terms of delivery. The output includes both natural gas and fluids. While the gas is delivered to the distribution network, the fluids are usually transported in tanker trucks to production facilities or dewatering stations for further treatment.
